Transforming a building perception and offer with a new identity

HOP - Heart of Porto

The asset was a deactivated space, with only Starbucks and the parking lot operating. The plan was to reconvert the upper floors into offices, reconfigure the ground floor with new commercial offers, keep the supermarket on the lower level and build a narrative capable of positioning it as a new urban ecosystem in the heart of the city.

The project began with the acquisition of the former La Vie shopping centre, in the centre of Porto, by two investment funds — Tikehau Capital and Quest Capital — with the goal of transforming it into a new reference business hub.

Context

The Challenge

Develop the brand from scratch — name, identity, voice and positioning — to attract companies, talent and visitors, with sustainability and functional integration as central pillars. Rethink the building's positioning and identity, representing this brand as the new 'Heart of Porto'.
